The bands at Horn Lake High School are comprised of:
 
1.  Marching band, which meets in the fall during the school day, and three days a week after school.

2.  Symphonic band, which is the top performing band in the band program at Horn Lake.  This band is by audition only and meets during the spring semester.

3. Concert band, which is the second concert band in the band program. This band is also by audition only, and it also meets during the spring semester. 

4.  Percussion Class meets during the spring semester is by audition only.

5.  Jazz band meets after school in the spring semester and is open to anyone in the Horn Lake Eagle Pride.  Additional students may be selected form the student body of Horn Lake High School through an interview process. 

6.  Winterguard meets after school in late fall and early spring semester.  It is open to anyone in the Horn Lake Eagle Pride through audition.
